Many people don’t realize it, but moles and warts are in fact distant cousins from the same family of skin concern.
Moles come in two forms, either benign, not causing any damage, or harmful, those that could become cancerous and cause damage.
In the same way, warts have many variations – for example – genital warts, planter warts, and contagious warts. While all contagious, these warts have different natures and preferred remedies.
While there are many safe ways to remove moles, strangely, mole and wart removal from home is a method that has become popular. But alas, many people attempt this without proper research or understanding, and end up causing themselves more harm than good.
I’ve seen crazy things like people cutting off their warts with scissors and showing the world on Youtube – it’s a crazy world!
Whether it’s the removal of planter warts, or the removal of genital warts, proper consultation by a physician MUST be sought before treatment is obtained.
The thing people forget is that your doctor might prescribe you a home treatment anyway! But at least you’ll know how to properly apply it and you won’t injure yourself in using it.
If you don’t believe me, think about home remedies like topical creams that you can just rub on – hot water treatments, drying powders that you can use to make the wart fall off naturally and even scissors straight to the thing… Ok that last one was a joke, but you see what I mean right?
Take heed of these words and remain one of the people who removes warts safely rather than dangerously.
