Asthma, except in severe circumstances, is not considered debilitating. It is generally quite easily treated through the use of a steroid based inhaler and while an asthma sufferer generally needs to avoid serious exertion and exercise, it is possible for them to live a very long and fulfilling life. However in some circumstances the symptoms could be significantly more severe and if combined with other bronchial issues, can become life threatening. Also, while most asthmatics suffer attacks during the early part of the morning or late evening, there has been a worrying trend where more people are developing asthma later in life and are having attacks that are triggered by other environmental factors.
Asthma
Asthma is a genetic condition that can be passed down through the genes in a family. However studies have also shown that the seriously obese are at greater risk of developing asthma later in life as are smokers and those that are exposed to an inferior quality of air. While treatment in all the cases is fairly similar through the use of a steroid based inhaler, this treatment focuses on alleviating the symptoms rather than on treating the causes.
Natural Asthma Relief
Natural asthma relief can be obtained by focusing on the triggers that instigate the attacks in the first place. These triggers are often found to be allergen based and by utilizing various sprays and liquids to maintain a proper sterile environment in the home, it is possible to reduce the occurrence of asthma related symptoms entirely. While this too is not a cure, by treating the causes, the severity and scope of asthma can be cut down dramatically.
